Gardening as an act of Resistance: a conversation with Elizabeth Chaney

Perspectives is a new series that invites the public to take a seat at the table with artists, curators, and specialists in various fields of knowledge, and enrich discussions about works of art or exhibitions with thought-provoking questions, new concepts, and fresh perspectives.

Join us as Elizabeth Chaney describes work with a collective of organizations surrounding a garden that spans the articulated U.S./Mexico border as it climbs Monument Mesa from the Pacific.

Perspectives talks are meant to provide everyone involved with the opportunity to voice their opinion and take part in an engaged discussion.

This event is free and will take place in MCASD La Jolla’s thoughtLAB.
